The placement committee at MCIM is a student-managed body under the aegis of a faculty guide. in its practice of letting students handle the whole recruitment process. The main recruitment processes organized by the Placement committee are:

Summer Recruitment Process: This is generally held during the second week of September and it aims to place the first year students on Internship with major companies in a number of functions. This enables the students to get a first hand experience of the business environment.

Campus Recruitment Process: This is the final leg of the recruitment processes for the academic year; the main objective is to help students achieve their preferred functions and companies. This takes place during the first fortnight in February. The Institute has a full fledged record of 100% placements.
